Liptovská Mara as a potential threat to lives and property in the event of an accident

The main goal of this diploma thesis is the analysis of the impact on the Vážska cascade in case of disruption of the Liptovská Mara Waterworks, as well as the development of a SWOT analysis of the safety elements of the waterworks. The theoretical part of this work is focused on the evaluation of the current state of security, the characteristics of the territory, which is most and immediately threatened in the event of a breach of the waterwork. In the practical part, a risk analysis was developed, and after its analysis, proposal for measures to increase the level of security of the Liptovská Mara waterworks was developed.

Public law aspects of the construction and operation of water works Abstract The subject of this thesis is to describe the administrative law relations that arise in the construction and operation of waterworks, as one of the types of construction that public construction law recognizes. The thesis focuses on the legal regulation of the construction and operation of major waterworks, such as hydroelectric power stations or dams. An important feature of this work is an attempt to bring closer the general institutes of administrative law, which the regulation of water law contains and de lege ferenda considerations in this specific area of public law. In the first part of this thesis, water law is defined as a branch of law with an overlap into private and public law and the relevant sources for the construction and operation of water works are defined, while the following chapter characterizes the relationship of Act No. 254/2001 Coll., on Water and on Amendments to Certain Acts (Water Act) with other regulations of the general part of administrative law. Furthermore, the first part describes the method of exercising public administration in the field of water management and defines the central topic of the thesis, i.e. water works. Defines land as an object of ownership, defines terms waterworks and focuses on the institutions of the interaction of land and water works. In detail discusses mode of buffer zones, land servitudes and obligations in relation to flood protection.

The proposal of project utilizing historical water constructions in tourism of Blanský les

This thesis is dedicated to the historic waterworks in Blanský forest. The main goal of this work is the proposal to use the historic water works in the tourism industry. In the theoretical part defines the concepts associated with the field of tourism, historic waterworks, management and marketing. In the practical part are selected three most important historic water works and their designed for use in tourism. Option utilization is calculated using managerial decision-making process and Saaty method. On the basis of the calculations are in the last part of the thesis proposed appropriate solutions.
